Description of Tool or App

Explore learning is an interactive online simulation for science and math. There are multiple choices for you to choose from. I have chosen the simulation to demonstrate how doctors decide the appropriate dosage of medicine to give patients. This simulation is called “Drug Dosage”.

Benefits of Tool or App

Explore learning is very simple to use. There are directions on each page. You can give instant feedback to the students’ work. You can grade the students’ work online. You can also learn about a subject that would be limiting in the real world setting. You also have access to their assignment created for the simulation. You may create your own as well.

Constraints of Tool or App

Explore learning requires a few minutes at the beginning of the year to set up all of the account from the students. The students have to create their own account. Also, I have found that students often forget their password. When they do, you do have access to their information as the account manager.
